		<description>Thanks for adding the Jane Goodall quote, “Lasting change is a series of compromises. And compromise is all right, as long your values don’t change.” It sums up where we&#039;re at right now. The Bill is full of compromise, but it&#039;s a start and it has served as a wake-up call to those who did not foresee the financial risk inherent in not measuring and managing a company&#039;s carbon footprint. Inaction has brought us to a point of no return, where neither the climate nor the economy is doing well with the status quo. We need to invest in both to provide an holistic solution to the larger problem. The good news is carbon accounting and management are not as confusing as many people think. Check out www.csa.carbonperformance.org for an introduction. Now to get that Bill through the Senate!</description>
